On occasion, Elk Grove / Galt CERT will ask for volunteers to assist with community events and training exercises. CERT members of all levels are encourage to participate.
Any Elk Grove / Galt CERT member wanting to volunteer for any Community Event, assist with CERT Training or assisting with local emergencies where CERT has been activated, must have fully completed the CERT Level 2 training. This includes attending the level 2 class, completing the 2 on-line FEMA courses and submitting a Department of Justice background check with the Elk Grove Police Department.
